Late Autumn/First Snow-Acrylic Impasto Two part class

This painting was inspired by an early snow last October. I was driving down a rode near my home and the heavy golden leaves of the deciduous trees were so brilliant and then a light snow had fallen accentuating the evergreens. I took numerous photos and then went straight to my studio to try to capture the mood. I remember it was a very grey day and the snow was turning to rain as I painted…

So I hope you join me to create your version of this ‘Moment in Time’. We will use acrylic paint, pallet knives and heavy body medium to create this highly textured 10×20″ piece. No experience needed. I supply everything needed. This class is priced to cover the extra expenses this impasto technique requires. I just love the freedom of painting in this style!
Open to anyone 12yrs and older. We will meet on Saturday October 14 and 21 from 10am-12pm.
